The village of Shuei Community of Thao in Sun Moon Lake

There were about 500 people in 6 communities of Thao in early 20th century. Most of them, including Shuei Community, lived by Sun Moon Lake. The Japanese built dike for generating Hydroelectric Power in 1930s so they moved to Dehua Community.
