The man in the center of the picture carries a fire bag (now a little bag for small objects) in front of his chest. His shoulder strap is decorated with some buttons and shells, a special feature of the tribe. The leather hat on his head appears to be made of bear skin, a privilege of warriors. A stamp is marked: “In memory of the mountain climbing trip to Alishan Mountain on September 10 of the 7th year of Showa.”
