All aborigines of the various tribes in Taiwan use thread sorter looms. The difference is that the Atayal people place their feet against the wooden tube when they weave, while the Amis and the Paiwan use a wooden board. This picture is found in Collection of Photos of Taiwan’s Savages, p. 99.
