The caption reads: “a loom of savage women of Wulai.” But judging from the clothes of the women and the houses, they seem to be of the Seediq Group of the Atayal in Wushe area. (The Wulai Group belongs to the Kukkyoku Group of the Atayal, presently located in Wulai Township of Taipei County.)
