This picture was taken by Mori Ushinosuke in February in 1906. Gantaban (Ganjhuowan) group of Bunun is distributed among upper stream area of Jhuoshuei River. Their houses are built by slates. Both Gantaban and Dan group share the same architectural style where skulls are hung under the eaves.
