Napual area refers to Liouguei Township or Taoyuan Township in Kaohsiung County. The Bununs were asked to move to Yanping Township in Taitung County by the Taiwan Supreme Prefecture during Japanese administration. The famous Maple Leaf junior baseball team were the successors of this tribe.
