The photo was taken by Mori Ushinosuke in December 1914, but in its description it only says this is a man of the Tsou. The photo on the left was taken by Sozo Nakai in 1910. In its description it explains this is a man of the Luhtu Group. Presently inhabiting the region around Luona and Jiumei of Xinyi Township of Nantou County, the tribe has gradually assimilated with the Bunun
